Inventory summary
INVENTORY USED AT COST
Total cost of inventory consumed during the count period.
Reorder when closing quantity is at or below PAR. Turnover uses average opening/closing stock value and annualizes the selected period.
Item-by-item analysis
Usage = opening + purchased − closing. Costs use the entered price per unit.
| Item | Used | Usage cost | Stock value | Status |
|---|
Know what you used.
For each item, enter the opening quantity, quantity purchased, and closing quantity. The calculator determines units consumed and multiplies that by unit cost. Closing stock value uses the closing quantity times unit cost.
Inventory turnover and days of inventory are estimates based on the three entered items—not your entire operation. They are most meaningful when the items represent a consistent inventory scope. This free version intentionally supports three items.
